Nepal Trekking UK invites you to explore the Himalayas.....
Home to eight of the world's 14 highest peaks, Nepal is a strikingly beautiful country. In the north, running along the Tibetan border, the snowy peaks of the mighty Himalayas graze an endless sky. From these soaring heights, Nepal's thunderous rivers crash their angry paths, down through terraced foothills and on to India, and the great plains of the Ganges.
The best - and often only way - to explore Nepal's dramatic range of mountains is by walking and winding across the Himalayas where you will find a network of ancient paths. A maze of trails leading you past traditional villages, holy temples, lonely monasteries and some of the worlds most stunning scenery, up into the roof of the world.
Trekking: Something for everyone
You don't have to be an Olympic athlete to tackle the Himalayas. Anyone who is moderately fit and has a sense of adventure will enjoy trekking in Nepal. The range of treks varies from short, gentle hikes through terraced foothills to lengthy expeditions to Everest's summit. Whatever your level of fitness or experience, you'll find an adventure waiting for you in Nepal.
What you can expect from us:
The experience of a lifetime! We take the worry of organisation off your shoulders, arranging all necessary trekking permits, internal flight transfers, guides, porters, cooks, food, tents and equipment you might need for your trip. We can arrange both tea houses (where you eat and sleep each night in local lodgings) and camping treks. On camping treks, everything is handled by porters, sherpas and cooks who carry the equipment, assemble and dissemble the camp and have hot meals waiting for you at every food break.
As we have mentioned above there are many different treks in Nepal and whatever you want to do or see we will arrange it for you....at very competitive rates! To give you an example of the types of trips we can arrange, just visit the 'packages' page to see our most popular treks.
There is so much to see tucked away in the hills and mountains of Nepal - and so much to miss if you are not accompanied by an experienced guide. Nepal Trekking UK has been safely guiding both experienced trekkers and climbers and first time walkers all over the country since 1996. We work on the principle that a good guide only knows the land and route; but a great guide also knows the people, the culture, the wildlife, the stories and history. This is why we only ever recruit the most experienced and professional guides in the Himalayas to ensure you get as much pleasure and fulfillment out of your adventure as possible, along with memories which will stay with you forever…
